In Paul's former life, he was both a staff-writer for major music publishing companies and a singer-songwriter. His first staff writing job was at Screen Gems Music but he quickly moved over to Warner Music where he was signed by music legend Chuck Kaye. From there he went to Chappell Music where he co-wrote with Bobby Caldwell the number one song, "Next Time I Fall" recorded by Peter Cetera and Amy Grant. Six months earlier his first hit, "Friends and Lovers", written with Jay Gruska, was both a pop hit by Gloria Lorring and Carl Anderson and a country hit recorded by Juice Newton and Eddie Rabbit. He subseuqently wrote for EMI, Geffen Music and Universal Music. Paul has had his songs recorded by Quincy Jones, James Ingram, David Foster, Olivia Newton John, Dionne Warwick, Laura Branagan, Kenny Rogers, Amy Grant, Kenny G, Patti Labelle, Patti Austin, Peter Cetera, The Pointer Sisters, Denise Williams and many more. He is the recipient of 12 ASCAP awards and co-wrote the theme to the TV series "Ali McBeal" with Vonda Shepard.

REDWOOD

REDWOOD was the band of my youth.  I was 15 when I joined forces with Bill Mumy and Gary David, several acoustic guitars, a violin, a piano and 3 part harmony -- the band was legendary in some parts of West Los Angeles for a brief period of time.   The following songs were produced and reimagined by Bill Mumy in his Laurel Canyon studio in 2011.   BUY THE CD ON ITUNES
